Skye Camp Flyer

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are happy to share the great news that funding is available for camperships through the Warren County Campership Program, a week-long overnight camp for children ages 7-16 free of charge. For those unfamiliar with this opportunity, funding is provided through the Warren County Board of Supervisors and private donations.

Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Warren County administers the program. Warrensburg Central School District does not decide who gets a campership and who does not.  Our role is simply to help you connect your children with an opportunity we think is worthwhile.

The children selected will be given a campership to attend Skye Farm Camp, a residential camp located just off Northway Exit 24 in Warren County. Please visit  www.skyefarmcamp.org for more information about Skye Farm’s programs so you can fill out the application(s) properly.  All information is strictly confidential.

If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, complete the enclosed application(s) and return to your building’s school social worker by Wednesday, March 1st . We will forward them to Cornell University Cooperative Extension, and they will notify you if your child has been selected.

Your child will need to have had a physical exam within the last 2 years and an up-to-date immunization record to attend camp. Please be aware there will be medical forms that need to be completed and signed by your child’s physician if they are selected to attend camp.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using the contact information below, or Michele Baker, the Campership Coordinator at Cornell University Cooperative Extension directly at mlb222@cornell.edu or 518-623-3291 or 518-668-4881.

Sincerely,
