Last week, our 6th graders traveled to New York City to see the Statue of Liberty! Students learned about the art and history surrounding the iconic statue. Students were treated to dinner and a show at Medieval Times after.

Hope Sherman is today’s featured senior from the Warrensburg National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Jimmy and Tammy Sherman and has earned the salutatorian ranking in the Top Ten of the senior class. She has been extremely active during her time in Warrensburg, participating in Soccer, Basketball, Softball, Yearbook, Varsity Club, SADD, French Club, Club Soccer, Middle League Softball, Summer Soccer, Summer Basketball, and Class Fundraising events. Hope also serves as the National Honor Society President and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society, as well. In addition, Hope has been participating in the New Visions Engineering Program and works outside of school at Riley’s. After high school, Hope plans to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute to major in Management Engineering. In the future, she would like to travel to Greece or Italy. Congratulations, Hope, and best wishes in all you do! We will miss you!

The Senior National Honor Society would like to recognize the valedictorian of the Class of 2024 as Lauryn Constantineau, daughter of Kristen and Brian Constantineau. During her time at Warrensburg, Lauryn has been involved in Ski Patrol, Trap Shooting, Varsity Track & Field, Ski Club, Drama Club, Chorus & Band, Jazz Band, and Master Singers. She plans to attend Clarkson University in the fall to major in Biology. Congratulations and good luck in all your future endeavors, Lauryn!

The Senior National Honor Society would like to recognize Tyler Powers as today’s featured senior. The son of Patrick and Dawn Powers, Tyler has been a valuable member of the National Honor Society and has also been active in Warrensburg by participating on many sports teams, including Varsity Football, Basketball, Baseball, Summer Basketball, AAU Team, Tri-County Middle League Baseball, and Varsity Club. He also enjoys lifting weights and playing golf. After graduating, Tyler plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College in the Overhead Lineman Course. In the future, he has the goal to travel to Italy and France and would like to have a very nice family. Best wishes in all you do, Tyler! We will miss you!

From the first to the last day of school, our students grow both personally and academically. This morning, we celebrated some of our youngest students as our Kindergarteners received their graduation certificate from Principal Lalone in front of their friends and families. Haley West is today’s featured senior for the National Honor Society. Ranking 5th in the Top Ten of the Class, Haley is the daughter of Doug and Lee West. Haley is excited to attend SUNY Albany to major in Business Administration, where she hopes to set the foundation to become rich in the future. Haley has been extremely involved in Dance throughout her high school years and has performed in countless performances and competitions in the area. She has also been a member of the National Honor Society and the Varsity Track & Field team here at Warrensburg. Best of luck in all your future endeavors! We will miss you!

The Senior National Honor Society would like to recognize Tanner Monroe as our highlighted senior for today. The son of Jessica and Jeffrey Monroe, Tanner has been involved in a variety of activities during high school including Varsity Soccer, Baseball, Trap Shooting, and serves as a volunteer firefighter. He plans to attend the Lineman Institute of the North East to become an electrical lineman after graduating. In the future, he would like to be successful in his chosen career path and also continue serving as a volunteer firefighter. Congratulations, Tanner! We wish you all the best and will miss you!
