Mother-son duo Barbara Ann Cochran and Ryan Cochran-Siegle talked to fifth and sixth graders via Zoom about their experiences with Alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics. Ryan won the silver medal in the 2022 Winter Olympics and Barbara took home the gold in 1972. The talk was inspiring and focused on being prepared, having a purpose, having a growth mindset, doing your best, believing in your ability, putting in effort in everything you do, and changing negative thinking. Students had the opportunity to ask questions like "What is your secret to success?" and "What do the Olympics mean to you?" Thank you to Ryan and Barbara for calling in!
