This morning sophomore Brody Olden was given an enthusiastic send-off by our students and staff. Brody has made history as Warrensburg's first athlete to ever qualify for the NYSPHSAA Cross Country State Championship meet. Brody and cross country coach Mr. Chris Brown left this morning to travel to tomorrow's meet held in Chenango Valley. Best of luck Brody!

HESC is holding a Virtual FAFSA Completion Workshop on Thursday, November 18, 3pm - 7pm. The event is free and open to any senior planning to attend college in the fall of 2022. Registration is required and is now open at StartHereGetThere.ny.gov/events. Financial aid professionals will be available to provide private, one-on-one assistance in completing the FAFSA and NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications.

Reminder!! Students will be dismissed 15 minutes early on Wednesday, November 10th. There is no school on Thursday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day.

Dear Families, I would like to inform you that a student who attended the homecoming dance on Saturday, October 23rd, had tested negative for COVID-19 on Friday, October 22nd. That student became symptomatic on Sunday, October 24th and tested positive on Tuesday, October 26th. After informing Warren County Public Health, they determined that all fully vaccinated students who attended the dance could attend school tomorrow (Friday, October 29th) and be tested during the school day as a precaution. All unvaccinated students who attended the dance must remain home tomorrow (Friday, October 29th). This will be an excused absence. The school will administer tests to the unvaccinated students who attended the dance between 3pm and 5pm outside at the High School. Today is World Teacher's Day! We want to say thank you to ALL our staff who work tirelessly every day for the students in our district! Thank you to all administrators, teachers, teaching assistants, nurses, counselors, cleaners, buildings & grounds staff, secretarial staff, support staff and transportation staff! We could not do it without you!

John Arnold recently became a certified New York State EMT-B. He has been a dedicated team member of the Warrensburg EMS since 2019, and they recognized John for his achievement. He was also voted as The Post-Star's Best of the Region first responder for 2021. John is enrolled in the WSWHE BOCES New Visions program and employed at Lamoille Ambulance Service in Ticonderoga. Congratulations John! J
